Dr. Abera AbayAbera Abay, MD

Dr. Abay is a graduate of the Addis Ababa University School of Medicine in Ethiopia. He completed his Internal Medicine training and Gastroenterology postdoctoral fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center, where he also served as Chief Medical Resident. There he received The Weingarten Award for Outstanding Medical Resident.

Dr. Sood is a nationally recognized expert on topics pertaining to women’s Gastrointestinal health including constipation and irritable bowel syndrome. She received her medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate in Brooklyn, NY. She also obtained a masters degree from the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University in NY.

Dr. Jefrey SalekJefrey Salek, MD

Dr. Salek was born and raised in Connecticut. He received his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New Hyde Park, NY where he also served as a Chief Medical Resident.

Leslie has been a physician assistant for four years. She trained at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Patrick received his Physician Assistant training from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham North Carolina. He later completed a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska School of Medicine. He has practiced in Primary Care for over twenty-five years.
